A gelato utensil that brings together the beauty of industrial processes, and the simplicity of intention. Just a press, and a pinch.

Borne from a series of experiments, the Premere Spoon is primarily constructed with only 2 Industrial Processes, with every possible metric refined.
The process begins with a laser-cut blank of 316 Stainless Steel. Using a custom press-mould, a concave profile is pressed into the blank, creating a subtle depression with ideal oral-ergonomics.
The concave blank is then placed into a custom vice, and the lower part is squeezed, creating the spoon's stem. This process melds the curves together, creating a seamless and luxurious transition.
With ergonomics of both the hand and mouth in mind, the Premere Spoon was meticulously prototyped to have the perfect proportions. It is small and delicate, yet firm to grip. The U-profile of the stem conforms beautifully to the base of the thumb, with the shallow depression of the tip giving a satisfying, creamy mouthfeel.
